  First UU is a great community. Warm and friendly - open and affirming to all. It's a great church is you have children - wonderful Religious Education program. This is a congregation that is open to all - especially the spiritual but not religious. Services are at 10:30 on Sunday mornings.

  This is the best church in Syracuse for those looking to find their own truth providing your beliefs are extremely Liberal. Conservatives should run for the hills.

  First UU is a truly welcoming place where one can be one's true self. Without a dogma being imposed, I am free to find, with the help of the society, spiritual wisdom from so many different traditions. And, what is very important to me, the freedom to be honest with my beliefs. All that is required is to be both open-minded and open-hearted.

  I find First UU to be a welcoming and spiritual community. The lack of creed and dogma is refreshing. A good place for open-minded and tolerant people of all (or no) religious background.

  A spiritual home for everyone......regardless of your religion, science, atheist belief or humanist practice, all are welcomed as a community that respects differences and strives for common goals, justice, messages through music, love of children, and a commitment to a more peaceful world.....I miss you meditating under the most wonderful stained glass window, and love you.
